Why Liquid and Cream blushes Are Here to Stay

Gone are the days when powder blushes alone sufficed, now we have some amazing  beauties referred to as Cream/liquid blushes.

As expected,  most people stall with trying out new things. Change could be scary and very much unwelcome. This was my situation with the liquid/Creme blushes.

I actually felt they were unnecessarily hyped and gave a few concerned looks when I observed how they were being used by some makeup artists. It used to look like too much color to me, and it felt way above my comfort zone. Then I realized it’s use could also be controlled to suit individual preferences.

If you know me well, you will know that I love properly blended beats. I am not a fan of unmatching, poorly blended colors popping out from different angles of the face.

Now while the description of “flying blended colors” given above doesn’t work for me, it is the very description that rocks the boat of many others. Humans are a diverse specie, therefore this is expected.

I had initially sworn never to buy any liquid or cream blush with my personal funds. I just wasn’t willing to budge, but I am thankful my stance changed when I got a freebie.

How I became the proud owner of a cream blush pallete

So you see, I had attended a program by the amazing T’alamode beauty. She organized this highly informative and interactive (one day) class with the only criteria for admission being the possession of a permanent Voter’s card.

At this seminar, I met some of the friendliest humans ever. There was zero discrimination and freedom of expression. Did I also mention that mouthwatering refreshments were served?

Yep, and that’s not all! I got a box of gifts for being the most active student in that class.

Can you imagine?

Me, shy Titi……the most active student! It felt super nice. I almost missed my gift fam, I was in a hurry that day. Hubby was waiting outside in the car and I had to leave before the program ended.

As I dashed out of the class into hubby’s car, someone ran closely behind me to ensure I didn’t miss my gift. Lo and behold a beautiful highlight palette featuring cream blushes amongst other gifts was presented to me.

The Tehila highlight pallete

The name of this breath taking palette is the Tehila highlight pallete which can be purchased via their website…… www.tehilacosmeticsltd.com currently for 12,000 naira; about 27 US dollars (Prices could change at anytime). Though at the moment, it could be considered pricy, but for what they are offering, trust me it is totally what the hype. This palette is amazing! Infact, I felt super foolish for stalling on cream blushes for this long fam.

You know, just like the cream contour cream blushes make all the difference. They do the main work of adding some pretty colours to those cheeks and then the powder blush comes in to perfect the job.

It’s like cream blushes understood the assignment they were created for, at least the 4 in this particular palette are the bomdigidi

Now I am more open minded to embracing the cream and liquid blushes. Tm essentials have a range of new liquid blush collections, and I have got my eye on a few of them.

So guys, I know it is difficult to welcome change sometimes but it is also great to take your chances as well. You just might make a new discovery and get stuck on it like I did with the cream/liquid blushes.
