Hello fellow foodies!! I have a confession to make
As much as I love to cook and eat, I absolutely loathe consuming whole fruits. I battled with haemorhoids for years before discovering the gold mine; smoothies.
You know that popular saying………. “If you can’t eat it, drink it,” I absolutely agree!
It was super exciting giving each of these yummy delights unique names based on the vibes they gave on tasting. I certainly won’t mind if you have other name suggestions as well.
Before we proceed, I have to introduce y’all to my amazing “go to” low fat youghurt; Mich and Kay.
This has steadily been my first choice for the creamiest smoothie mixes. It could also be consumed as a snack on its own. Trust me, one spoon of this bliss and you are hooked!
I also occasionally purchase an amazing keg of drinkable youghurt from a dear friend @greenandhealthyng to give my smoothies that creamy taste. However, the drinkable youghurt runs thinner compared to the thicker Mich and Kay Greek youghurt. Regardless, I love them both. When out of both youghurt brands, I sometimes make use of almond milk or regular milk.
You see, the trick about making smoothies, is that the consistency of your smoothie totally depends on your liquid base, be it water/ice cubes, Almond milk, youghurt or regular milk. The more the base, the thinner the consistency. It is also very advisable to blend your fruits frozen/cold to aid maximum enjoyment.
