Dessert by definition is a sweet course or dish usually served at the end of a meal. 

Truth be told, most of us look forward to yummy deserts after every main meal. 

It is of course always better when the deserts are delicious and also easy to whip up in minutes. Therefore, it brings me great pleasure to present you with five of my easy and delicious recipes for your satisfaction and utmost consumption. You need to try out these recipes guys. Trust me, there shall be no regrets!

1. Waffles

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups of all purpose flour 
  • One cup Cold full cream milk
  • One table spoon of baking powder
  • One cup of Sugar ( you could add more if you so desire)
  • 2 Eggs 
  • 1/4 cup of Melted butter
  • Syrup for topping 
  • Ice cream for topping

Waffles

Description

Make Waffles like a pro!


Ingredients

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups of all purpose flour 
  • One cup Cold full cream milk
  • One table spoon of baking powder
  • One cup of Sugar ( you could add more if you so desire)
  • 2 Eggs 
  • 1/4 cup of Melted butter
  • Syrup for topping 
  • Ice cream for topping 

Instructions

Instructions 

  1. In a bowl, pour your sieved flour and add in your baking powder as well as sugar and mix all the dry ingredients together. Set aside. 
  2. Pour your milk into another bowl along with your warm melted butter and eggs and stir gently with a whisk
  3. Combine both wet and dry ingredients till all the butter clumps are well dissolved. Your waffle batter should not be too runny or too thick
  4. Glaze your waffle maker with some of the melted butter or oil and pour in your batter then close till waffles are ready
  5. Take out and enjoy with your syrup toppings and ice cream.

Cinnamon swirl

Instructions 

  1. Whisk together the plain flour, baking powder, caster sugar and salt in a bowl
  2. In a separate bowl, pour in your unsalted butter and pre beaten eggs and milk. Whisk lightly, then pour mix into the dry ingredients 
  3. Set aside for a few minutes while you concentrate on your cinnamon swirl
  4. Combine all the cinnamon swirl ingredients in a bowl and a table spoon of your pancake batter
  5. Pour into a pippette
  6. Get your pancake pan ready, oil lightly and pour in your batter, then swirl your cinnamon mix over it. Make sure to swirl closer to the middle to avoid spillage while cooking 
  7. Flip to the other side till both sides are nice and brown.

          • 60g unsalted butter, melted and cooled

          • 2 large pre beaten eggs

          • 220mls  of milk room temp

          • 240grams of plain flour 

          • 4 tablespoons of caster sugar

          • 4 teaspoons of baking powder

          • 1/2 Tsp salt

Cinnamon swirl

          • 30 grams unsalted butter melted and cooled

          • 2 teaspoon cinnamon

4. Cookie dough Cheese cake

This one is super easy with just four ingredients

  • 5 crunchy cookies I usually use Maryland cookies (3 for base, one for filling and one for topping 
  • 2 teaspoons of melted unsalted butter
  • 120grams of cream cheese
  • 2 Tbs of icing sugar

Instructions 

  1. Start off by crushing 3 Maryland cookies for the base, mix with melted butter and press down firmly in a ramekin container before putting in the fridge. 
  2. Whisk together cream cheese and icing sugar and add crushed cookies before layering on the pressed down cookies in the ramekin container
  3. Sprinkle some more cookies on the cream as topping and refrigerate before consumption. Absolutely yummy.

5. Berry popsicles

This is a delight and absolute favourite among children. This is majorly because it is interesting to consume and can be likened to Lolly pops. Best of all it takes only a few minutes to make with super easy instructions 

Ingredients

  • Popsicle sticks
  • Popsicle molds
  • Greek youghurt ( I love Mich and Kay)
  • Evaporated milk
  • Sugar
  • Berries (blue berries and straw berries)

Instructions 

  1. In a bowl add on your Greek youghurt and milk to loosen up the youghurt thickness
  2. Put your frozen berries into the blender and add some sugar if you are about that life.
  3. Get your popsicle mold and layer the youghurt mix with the berry mix on top
  4. Put in the popsicle sticks 
  5. Leave to solidify in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours
  6. After 5-6 hrs, your berry popsicles would be ready for consumption
