Now to the buisness at hand, let us sift out the juicy perks to this product, one after the other and identify corresponding cons while at it. In usual style, we would commence with the outlook/packaging of the product.
Appearance
The mac fix it spray pack screams luxury at its peak! It comes in a sleek black pack with white wordens providing the necessary product information splattered across it. This simple but pretty pack opens up to a spray bottle like none I have ever come across! It is cylindrical in shape, and has a unique slide open and close {cover top} motion that ensures the pump stays closed while not in use. It is simply amazing fam! I would say that this is the least the mac crew could do, considering the product doesn’t come cheap.
The spray bottle is a transparent kind with a total volume/ net weight of 100mls/3.4FL.OZ. Now this bottle has the exact words written on the pack, plastered over it as well.
The liquid accommodated by this unique spray bottle is white in colour, with a distinct cosmetic smell { that is not pungent and not particularly soft or aromatic}
We are also instructed on the pack to shake its content well, and hold the bottle 12 inches away from the face before proceeding to spray on the face. It could be used before, and after makeup.
Promises
Product promises are very essential when rating any product. Most times, they are usually written across the pack or container in which they come, as in the case of the Mac prep + prime fix + matte spray.
Let’s delve into the product promises y’all
It clearly states on the pack that this is a soothing moisture mist that refreshes the skin and finishes make up hold.
It is also said to be a vapourisateur mattifiant that can prep, prime and fix your make up look.
The Mac spray is noted as a hydrating mist spray, and it boasts of the almighty claim to set/improve the wear quality of a face beat. for up to 12 hrs.
It would also interest you to know that this product is dermatologically tested and non- acnegenic.
But do the manufacturers keep to their promises?
Performance
When it comes to product performance, I would say in most cases that “using is believing.”
The only way to prove that the manufacturers came through with their promise in my opinion is by trying out the products. Now I would reveal my honest thoughts on how well the Mac crew kept to their promises on this one.
Yes!! This spray gives a soothing feel to the face. I felt the soothing effect 💯 after spraying it over my face and I tell no lies fam.
It is infact a vapourisateur that leaves tiny whitish freckles on the face immediately after applied, however these white freckles dissappear almost as fast as they appear, and dry matte. I also realized that shaking the product well before use reduces the appearance of the white freckles. Though in all honesty, this is a non issue.
Finally, and most importantly, this spray is a boss with setting and holding your make up look together! My face beat stayed put for up to 8hrs without sweat/ shine but this could also be attributed to its sync with the other great cosmetic products it was used in combination with and a good skin prep.
I would say that the only thing not to love about this product is that it isn’t price friendly. It retails for about 33 USD currently. However in my opinion, it is worth every penny. Good things rarely come cheap.
Aside cost, this product definetely delivers with every promise made, especially when used as a power couple with the mac studio fix foundation.

Let’s cut the chase, I would rate this product 9 out of 10 with my full chest because it is simply amazing.
