The best Asun rice you ever had

My love for Goat meat actually knows no bounds y’all! The flavour it gives to meals! That yumminess that keeps you dreamy and salivating for more when made right, my goodness! If you are pretty new to the Asun goodness, my dear, please remove yourself from the rock that has been blocking your premium enjoyment. 

I bring you this finger licking Asun rice recipe that I implore you to try and testify! You would honestly have zero regrets after making this meal. Find the preparation details below.

INGREDIENTS 

  • 1kg of boneless and skinless goat meat ( you could leave the skin on if you love it)
  • 4 cups of rice (any rice you have is fine, it doesn’t necessarily have to be basmati rice)
  • 5 large bell peppers
  • 8 small scotch bonnet peppers (you could reduce the scotch bonnet pepper if you don’t want it too spicy)
  • One large onion bulb (chopped)
  • Bouillion cubes to taste
  • Curry powder (one teaspoon) 
  • Black pepper (half a teaspoon) 

Steps 

  1. Get your pepper mix ready by roughly blending your bell peppers and scotch bonnet pepper
  2. Rinse your goat meat and put in a clean pot along with some sliced onions 
  3. Add half a cooking spoon of your roughly blended pepper and some water 
  4. Also put in a teaspoon of curry, half a teaspoon of black pepper and some seasoning cubes for taste and let that cook for about 10 -15 minutes or till meat is well cooked and tender 
  5. When your meat is cooked, take it out and fry your goat meat in a clean frying pan.
  6. Meanwhile get your Rice ready, In a clean pot, pour in a little oil and follow through with some onions and blended pepper, stir for a few seconds 
  7. Introduce your rice into the mix and add in some water along with your meat stock and some seasoning cubes for taste
  8. Leave the rice to boil/cook well
  9. In the same pan where your goat meat was fried, add in some onions, all of your remaining  roughly blended pepper and your fried goat meat
  10. Finally, add in your rice and stir it all together
  11. Your delicious Asun rice is ready to be devoured fam!
