Description
This peppered asun recipe is one that your taste buds won’t forget easily
Ingredients
Scale
- 1kg of boneless and skinless goat meat
- 4 cups of rice
- 5 large bell peppers
- 8 small scotch bonnet peppers
- One large onion bulb (chopped)
- Bouillion cubes to taste
- Curry powder (one teaspoon)
- Black pepper (half a teaspoon)
Instructions
- Get your pepper mix ready by roughly blending your bell peppers and scotch bonnet pepper
- Rinse your goat meat and put in a clean pot along with some sliced onions
- Add half a cooking spoon of your roughly blended pepper and some water
- Also put in a teaspoon of curry, half a teaspoon of black pepper and some seasoning cubes for taste and let that cook for about 10 -15 minutes or till meat is well cooked and tender
- When your meat is cooked, take it out and fry your goat meat in a clean frying pan.
- Meanwhile get your Rice ready, In a clean pot, pour in a little oil and follow through with some onions and blended pepper, stir for a few seconds
- Introduce your rice into the mix and add in some water along with your meat stock and some seasoning cubes for taste
- Leave the rice to boil/cook well
- In the same pan where your goat meat was fried, add in some onions, all of your remaining roughly blended pepper and your fried goat meat
- Finally, add in your rice and stir it all together
- Your delicious Asun rice is ready to be devoured fam!
